Since we moved to DC, we have continued to be amazed at the wealth of history outside our back door. So naturally, we want to steep our son in the richness of this city with every opportunity. We took Behr for his first walk around the capitol. He loved it. We think he might be a budding history buff!
Wow, it looks so different. When I left the visitor center was still under construction. Makes me kind of sad how much it has changed. I can't wait to bring our girls down to DC for their own field trip--although we will probably wait until they are quite a bit older. Behr looks thrilled. hehe.
ReplyDeleteHow fun! I want to come there for a family vaca someday! :)
ReplyDeleteI know it Shannon! I've heard of you lots... from Bridget... Rita... etc... but I don't think we've ever officially "met". ??? What the heck??? Your family is just beautiful... and I'm a bit jealous that you live in D.C. I've never been! And I'm from New England. Pathetic. I know. Thank you so much for spending the time to read my blog. I'm just now reading yours... and I can't wait. And you have a calligraphy business!!! How AWESOME!!! and a new baby!!! Even more awesome!!!
ReplyDeleteBecky - it feels like it is still continually under construction! But you have to come back and visit with the girls. The mini museum inside is terrific.
ReplyDeleteCandis - you already have a place to stay. Our home is your home anytime! We should plan something when our boys are finally old enough to enjoy the sight seeing.
Jenny - so exciting to finally connect with you.
Love these pictures Shannon! DC is so picturesque and you look fabulous and so happy! Congrats!
