Vacationing Slow / The Busy, Part 2

Lobster, glorious lobster.

This was probably the top priority of this vacation for me, even higher than relaxing. I was really excited about lobster, and it lived up to the expectations.

It is so difficult to ever order lobster when we aren't in New England. Having had so many caught fresh lobsters, nothing else compares. I miss this food most.

 Marshland.
The views on the North Shore of Boston are breathtaking.
I had nearly forgotten.

Down River Ice Cream is also a must if you are ever in the area (near Crane Beach).

Our preferred flavors include:
Kung Fu Grasshopper
White River Junction
Mug Up
Monkey's Uncle
A River Runs Through It

basically, you should visit daily to try every flavor.

The fourth was hot, but we made it to the local parade to see the firetrucks.

The heat wore us out, so we crashed for nap time and then drove into the city.

When in Boston, do Acorn Street.

I loved this street when I worked on Beacon Hill, so we had to stop for a photo opportunity.

After all, it is one of the most photographed streets in Boston.*
*or as Anna corrected me, AMERICA!

During the fireworks show, we could see the reflection of the show on the buildings and even more firework displays in the distance. We were so grateful for our 360 view.

A roof top is definitely the way to go!
