Its time for my birthday weekend. On Sunday I turn T-H-I-R-T-Y and one of the things still left undone is a 30 before 30 list, a few years ago it seemed to be a blogger's rite of passage to have a bucket list. Well, I clearly missed the window. Instead, how about a giveaway from a handful of my favorite shops -- all handmade, two of them local. I am excited to share more about these shops and artisans. But for now, you better go enter!

ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday! I have so many favourite memories because I've always loved birthdays. One memory is, when I was 5, my family went to Disneyland for my birthday.
ReplyDeleteWell, actually, they went for spring break, but in my 5 year old mind, I was sure it was for me! It wasn't until I was an adult that I realized it hadn't been a present.
Happy Birthday, Shannon! I have to say, I really like this side of 30, even more than I expected!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite birthday memory, was last year when I threw a surprise 30th birthday party for my husband. It was 30 Rock themed and super fun to plan!

ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday! :) 30 isn't so bad (it's not the number that ages you, I think its the sleepless nights with the kids, haha).

ReplyDeletewhen I was little, my parents tracked down an extremely rare Beanie Baby for me as a present, since it happened to share my birthday (wow, Beanie Babies...talk about back in the day). I don't know if that really counts as my favorite memory, but it's certainly one that has stuck with me over the years.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite birthday memory would have to be when I rented a cabin in Eastern Oregon and spent a week there with my closest friends. Went on hikes and to the beach and whatnot, it was quite fun.
